further east on Roosevelt Ave

The first Sunday in June was Queens Pride, but some of the boys wanted to meet up at the Pier first. Everyone was running about a half hour late, and Bottomless Pitt and I found each other on Christopher St. She was pretty hard to miss because she was wearing a cropped Argyle sweater vest whose neck was cut along the diamond pattern. And by cropped, I mean you can’t machine wash wool, Bottomless Pitt!

Pitt and I crossed the river and arrived to the mob scene that was the street fair, missing the actual parade. But the street fair had its own wealth of entertainment.

Non-traditional hairstyles...

Be-dildoed ant eaters...

Inappropriate shorts...

Who knew Queens had an Eagle, too!

The formal entertainment was… well it ran the gamut.

And as usual, we couldn't keep our mouths shut.

After procuring an illegally mixed drink from a couple of vendors (Bottomless Pitt got some kind of frozen, sugary, Mardi-Gras-looking drink while I tried my first Nutcracker… ironically, not in Washington Heights), we met up with the Queens Gays (a division of the Ivy League Crew et. al. that includes Ernie [sans his partner, Bert], Rutgirls, Donkey Hóte, and a few others) and went to Friends Tavern, which was filled to the brim with Spanish-speaking reinas.

We salsaed, bachataed, and reggaetonned until I ran into a past hookup who asked me why I didn’t call him anymore (if you’re in your 30s and can’t figure out why a trick stopped calling you, please stop reading my blog). We hit up another spot further east on Roosevelt Ave. before Bottomless Pitt and I headed back to Manhattan.

While we were 2-4-1-ing at Chi Chi’s with Arm’n’Hammer and a townie an interesting character whom they met during their Ivy-League days, I got a text from TTT, who had been out of town for work.

Me a while later: Ran into 2 TSWBs looking to gang bang a bottom. Hope you get here soon.
Him: Bout to head out- where will u be in 30?
Me: yup 2-4-1.

About an hour later (!!), she, Urban Sprawl, and Ms. W walk in. Another 2-4-1, and we were off to Stonewall for Dirty Pop, hosted by Justin +1. After a drink and a tip to a particularly hot go-go, I was done for the night. Did I mention I had a birthday to plan? Yeah.
